The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford will host the Heart of the Alleghenies Folk Music Festival. For more information on the University and directions, click here for a MAP.

The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford is easily accessible from Interstate 86, Interstate 80, and US Route 219. The following directions may be of help to you as you plan your trip to visit Pitt-Bradford, which is located in one of the most scenic areas in the East.

DIRECTIONS TO PITT-BRADFORD FROM THE SOUTH (Pittsburgh, Harrisburg, Philadelphia, Allentown/Bethlehem/Easton)

-- From Interstate 80, follow US Rt. 219 North to Bradford (about 80 miles).

-- Take the Elm Street exit. Turn left at the bottom of the ramp onto Elm Street, then right at the next stop sign onto Davis Street. Turn left at the traffic light onto Main Street, and follow the signs to Pitt-Bradford. (The campus is approximately 1 mile west of downtown Bradford, just off PA Route 346 west.)

DIRECTIONS TO PITT-BRADFORD FROM THE NORTH (Buffalo, Niagara Falls)

-- From Interstate 90, follow US Route 219 South to Bradford (about 70 miles).

-- Take the Forman Street exit. Turn right at the bottom of the ramp onto Forman Street, then left at the stop sign onto Davis Street. At the next stop sign, turn right onto Boylston Street, and follow the signs to Pitt-Bradford. (The campus is approximately 1 mile west of downtown Bradford, just off PA Route 346 west.)

DIRECTIONS TO PITT-BRADFORD FROM THE EAST (Corning, Elmira, Rochester, Syracuse, Binghamton, Scranton, New York City)

-- Take Interstate 86 (also referred to as NY Rt. 17) , take exit 23 west to the Limestone/Bradford exit (US Rt. 219). At the bottom of the ramp, turn left onto US Route 219 south.

-- Take Route 219 south to the Forman Street exit. Turn right at the bottom of the ramp onto Forman Street, then left at the stop sign onto Davis Street. At the next stop sign, turn right onto Boylston Street, and follow the signs to Pitt-Bradford. (The campus is approximately 1 mile west of downtown Bradford, just off PA Route 346 west.)

DIRECTIONS TO PITT-BRADFORD FROM THE WEST (Erie, Cleveland, Jamestown)

-- Take Interstate 90 east to Interstate 86 (also referred to as NY Rt. 17).

-- , take exit 23 to Interstate 86 east to the Limestone/Bradford exit (about 75 miles from junction of I-90). At the bottom of the ramp, turn right onto US Route 219 south.

-- Take Route 219 south to the Forman Street exit. Turn right at the bottom of the ramp onto Forman Street, then left at the stop sign onto Davis Street. At the next stop sign, turn right onto Boylston Street, and follow the signs to Pitt-Bradford. (The campus is approximately 1 mile west of downtown Bradford, just off PA Route 346 west.)

The Festival Area will be located in the heart of the campus. Camping, Concert, Dining, Dorm and Workshop areas are all within a small area. Campers will have access to the Dorm showers and will be only a short walk from all activities. All indoor areas are clean, modern and air conditioned. Hotel style suites and rooms include high speed Internet access.
